Seasonal worker

Somebody who works on the estate only part of the year — at harvest, in the farm shop, at the wine festival.

In winegrowing that is the rule, not the exception: in six weeks of the year more people work on the estate than in the other forty-six put together.

For software that bills per login, that is exactly the expensive point. Pay for logins one by one and people share one — and a shared login makes every record worthless, because it is no longer established who entered what.
