The standardised export format in which till data is handed over at an inspection.

In full: the digital interface of the German tax administration for point-of-sale systems. It lays down which files with which fields a till has to produce on request.

The purpose is comparability: the inspector gets the same structure from every till. For the estate what matters is that the export is there at the press of a button — not after a call to the manufacturer.
