System participation
The contract with a dual system that funds the collection and recovery of packaging.
This is the part of the packaging act that costs money — charged on the quantities declared per material.
Only what ends up with a private end consumer has to be covered. What goes to the trade, to restaurants or to other businesses generally does not. Keep no such split and you declare everything to be safe — and pay for packaging you would not have had to pay for.
