Risk indicator

The calculated infection risk per disease and parcel, shown as a colour band.

An indicator is not a measurement but the output of a model: leaf wetness duration, temperature and growth stage become a level.

The minimum standard is three separate indicators — downy mildew, powdery mildew, botrytis — because the three respond to different weather.

And it does not replace walking the vineyard. It only tells you which day is worth walking it.
