Wine fund levy
The levy that funds the promotion of German wine, charged on area and quantity.
It is charged to the producer and calculated from the vineyard area worked and the quantity marketed.
It is not a large sum, but it is a deadline — and deadlines are what slips in the working year, because they come round once and give no warning.
