Training system

How the vine is built up and carried — trellis on wires, pergola, single stake.

The training system sets row width and canopy height and with them the area that application rates in plant protection are based on. It sits in the vineyard register, because it belongs to the block and not to the vintage.

It is also the reason two estates with the same hectares have completely different workloads: single-stake training on a steep slope and trellis on the flat are two different jobs.
