Vineyard
Vineyard register
The official record of every vineyard area an estate works, held by the competent authority of the federal state.
It lists the land parcel, the area, the variety, the year of planting and the training system. Every grubbing-up, every new planting and every top-grafting has to be reported.
It is the basis for planting authorisations, the yield check and grant applications — and comparing it against your own records is where discrepancies first show. Keep your areas differently in your system from the register and your returns are necessarily wrong.
